NOTICE: ONLY FOR CECH-2500, CECH-3000, and NOR Flash CECH-4X00 Models, you can read on how to identify your CECH-4X00 as NOR Flash or EMMC on the official BadWDSD GitHub Page under “Supported Models”.

BadWDSD allows for mid/late PS3 Slim models and some Super Slim models (NOR Flash only) to use qCFW (allows you to overclock CPU and GPU, swap X and O, no longer requires you to enable HEN every time the console is powered on, and much much more, please do your own research!).

Included with the service, since I’ll already be in there, your CPU and GPU will have new thermal paste applied to it and your heatsink and fan will be dusted out to help your system stay nice and cool and maintain safe operating temperatures. I will also replace the clock battery with a fresh one by Duracell.

If live cockroaches are found inside the console (evidence will be emailed to you), it can either be sent back with a 60% refund, excluding shipping, or I can continue with the service but will be double the listed price (if it’s $100, is now $200. If it’s $120, it’s now $240, etc) and the extra amount will be invoiced via email.

NOTICE: Due to the Hall Effect Modules being semi-incompatible with OEM Pro Controller Stick Boxes, it is mandatory for them to be replaced with ALPS Stick Boxes harvested from PS5 Controllers (which are of a higher quality than what is used in Switch Pro Controllers). Pro GCCs will also use PS5-harvested Stick Boxes which, conveniently, fit the GuliKit TMR modules they come with.

Definitions:
Stick Box: A Stick Box refers to the enclosure, usually made of metal, that houses two plastic arcs controlling each axis, a spring that provides tension and is in charge of centering the stick, and the shaft which the stick cap sits upon.

Stick Cap: Stick Caps are the rubber/silicone topped plastic piece that your thumbs rest upon.

Stick Modules: Stick Modules are what are in charge of in-game movement, they clip onto the side of the stick box, one for each axis, totalling two per stick box.

Repair Stick Drift
This service totally replaces the original drift-prone wiper-style potentiometer stick modules with drift-immune ALPS-compatible Hall Effect Stick Modules. The only thing you may potentially need to do over time is recalibrate your stick due to physical stick box wear, that can be done in the stick recalibration option on the Switch console itself, unless it’s a Pro GCC, then that can be done here.

Replace Stick Box
This replaces the old stick box with a fresh ALPS Stick Box. This is an option you’ll want to select if you’re experiencing issues with LS/RS not working/working inconsistently, if your stick is unusually wobbly, or if you’re needing this service done on a controller that’s using 3rd party sticks (as mentioned in the NOTICE section).

NOTICE: If you have previously had your sticks replaced and 3rd party sticks were used (Ginfull, K-Silver, GuliKit, etc), they will need to be replaced since this service only uses OEM ALPS stick boxes and ALPS-compatible TMR stick modules due to the high quality design of ALPS stick boxes. If you have not had them serviced before, you already have ALPS Stick Boxes
