NOTICE:Due to the Hall Effect Modules being semi-incompatible with OEM Pro Controller Stick Boxes, it is mandatory for them to be replaced with ALPS Stick Boxes harvested from PS5 Controllers (which are of a higher quality than what is used in Switch Pro Controllers). Pro GCCs will also use PS5-harvested Stick Boxes which, conveniently, fit the GuliKit TMR modules they come with.
Definitions: Stick Box: A Stick Box refers to the enclosure, usually made of metal, that houses two plastic arcs controlling each axis, a spring that provides tension and is in charge of centering the stick, and the shaft which the stick cap sits upon.
Stick Cap: Stick Caps are the rubber/silicone topped plastic piece that your thumbs rest upon.
Stick Modules: Stick Modules are what are in charge of in-game movement, they clip onto the side of the stick box, one for each axis, totalling two per stick box.
Repair Stick Drift This service totally replaces the original drift-prone wiper-style potentiometer stick modules with drift-immune ALPS-compatible Hall Effect Stick Modules. The only thing you may potentially need to do over time is recalibrate your stick due to physical stick box wear, that can be done in the stick recalibration option on the Switch console itself, unless it’s a Pro GCC, then that can be done here.
Replace Stick Box This replaces the old stick box with a fresh ALPS Stick Box. This is an option you’ll want to select if you’re experiencing issues with LS/RS not working/working inconsistently, if your stick is unusually wobbly, or if you’re needing this service done on a controller that’s using 3rd party sticks (as mentioned in the NOTICE section).
