SNES GCC
SNES GCC is an upcycling project that takes broken or scrap GameCube Controller boards and puts them into a SNES Controller form factor. Each SNES GCC will be made from Second-Hand Refurbished OEM SNES / SFC Shells, Buttons, and Button Membranes to give it that authentic and responsive feel.
WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS CONTROLLER COMPARED TO THE OTHER DIGITAL GCC’s OUT THERE?
This controller treats the D-Pad’s inputs as those from the left analog stick, allowing for greater GameCube game compatibility. This controller also keeps the rumble function as well as allows the user to remap the Y and Z buttons via DIP switches on the motherboard.
WHAT BUTTON IS WHAT AND WHERE THE HECK IS THE Z BUTTON, D-PAD, AND C-STICK?
All buttons are matched with their GameCube Controller counterparts with the exception of the ‘Z’ Button which is, by default, mapped to the ‘SELECT’ Button. As for the D-Pad and C-Stick, there currently isn’t a way to access those inputs, though I am looking into adding those in future revisions!
